We recognize the importance for our young children to hear language from fluent, first language speakers.

Help us help our children nurture a love for Kanyen’kéha!

Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na is seeking a fluent/highly proficient Kanyen’kéha speaker to work in our
preschool program beginning September 2019. Ideally the candidate would be available for a 30-hour work
week (6 hrs/day, 5 days/wk), however part-time employment (2-3 days/week) will be strongly considered.
Accommodation and travel expenses can be negotiated with anyone from outside of Kenhtè:ke.
The position would work alongside the Teacher to provide a Kanyen’kéha speaking environment to the children
and to reinforce the oral language of the second language speaking teacher.

This is NOT a teacher position, but rather someone with a love of young children and Kanyen’kéha.
